COLLATERAL\_FACTOR\_MAX\_AGE\_MS

const COLLATERAL_FACTOR_MAX_AGE_MS: 30000 = 30_000;

How long a mounted view may keep using a pair configuration before it must be re-read.

A collateral factor governs safety decisions, so an unreadable one is never replaced with an old value. Past this bound useCollateralFactor returns undefined data until a fresh read succeeds.

TanStack pauses interval polling for hidden tabs. Returning to the tab always refetches, so a hidden view refreshes on focus rather than claiming a background freshness bound it cannot enforce.
